About my “Blanket Series”

This is a series that I started after nearly 10 years of traveling throughout Southern Africa.
I was inspired by the many tribal lands I visited.

The bright colors of their textiles serve as a symbol of their identity, pride, culture, and a strong connection to family. It spoke to me about community and a sense of belonging. I wanted to capture that feeling of belonging and acceptance in my work.

My “Blanket Series” conveys a welcoming to all those who enter your home.

It speaks of your roots and sense of family.
